Hi

Xiangxin previously studied and lived in Boston and Hong Kong, and now works as an influencer and freelancer.

Born in an underdeveloped town in Sichuan, he transferred to a primary school in Chengdu during his childhood. With limited entertainment options, he immersed himself in the world of technology—passionate and obsessed, he grew into a "Geek." This laid the groundwork for his bold plan to start a tech company years later, while still in high school.

As vice president of the FT Business Club at Chengdu Jiaxiang Foreign Languages School, he co-led the club in hosting the 3rd Chengdu FT High School Student Business Challenge at Chengdu Jinjiang Hotel during his second year. It marked his first experience spearheading a large-scale event as a core leader.

Naturally curious and empathetic, he’s always been sensitive to business trends—especially in social media—thanks to tech-enabled tools like social platforms. In October 2015, he took his first step by launching an SNS account. To his surprise, it averaged 20,000 daily page views, racking up 12 million total views within the first year. His blog became highly popular among junior and senior high school students in Chengdu at the time.

A year later, he co-founded Tectrix with a talented, supportive team—a website designed to help users choose consumer electronics. In 2017, he went abroad to study, ultimately settling in Boston (a city with weather vastly different from Chengdu, a choice he hadn’t anticipated). Like many international students, he initially adopted the name "Greagh," but it often confused his foreign friends, so he soon reverted to his Chinese name, Xiangxin.

In a phase of exploration and trial-and-error, he’s confident in finding his life’s purpose—bravery and persistence are ingrained in him, just like his parents. He never stops chasing his passions or seizing opportunities to showcase his talents. As a freshman, he refused to let his first summer go to waste: after hundreds of resume submissions and countless rejections, he landed his first internship at an internet company in the summer of 2018, solidifying his sense of "passion."

He may never stop wandering and seeking—no one knows where he’ll go or who he’ll become. But he lives by his own mantra: "To live a life you’re proud of."
